Works on contact to reduce pain and anxiety for needle procedures, including injections, IV starts, infusion, finger sticks, heel sticks and dialysis cannulation. Patented M-Stim mechanical stimulation and ice technology combine to deliver needle pain relief where it's needed, blocking pain on contact. Physician-invented and proven to relieve pain and fear from needle procedures. Research shows that Buzzy allows for faster procedures with less patient distress compared to creams or sprays. It features a friendly bee design and is contoured with a compact shape that can be held in place with included comfort strap or a standard tourniquet. It is small enough to fit easily in a child's hand or on their arm, yet powerful enough for adult injections, blood draws or infusion. Reusable and intended for healthcare and multi-patient use, the vibration unit and included components are healthcare grade and can be disinfected in between uses. Buzzy XL provides optimal pain relief when combined with the included ice wings (when frozen), best for taking the sting out of intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous (Sub-Q) injections, any injections using viscous medications, or biologics. Includes ice wings with unique blue gel formulation that freezes solid and stays cold for approximately 10 minutes for intense cold therapy and pain relief.
