The Metabo HPT GE 710 Plus Corded Die Grinder is built for a variety of grinding tasks. This die grinder's 6.4 amps, 710 W motor produces 24,000 RPM, ensuring high performance for tackling heavy-duty applications. Vario-constamatic full-wave electronics offer infinite variable speed changes, and keeps the speed constant when under load for ideal results. Working in tight spaces is a breeze with its slim, compact and lightweight design, and the tool's soft grip provides comfort during use. Air inlets are conveniently placed on the back of the tool, keeping the vents from being covered so exhaust is properly expelled. For added safety, the Metabo HPT S-automatic safety shutdown turns off the power supply if there's an unexpected jam, and auto-stop carbon brushes protect the motor. If power is interrupted, restart protection prevents the tool from automatically restarting once power is restored. Its robust aluminum die-cast bearing flange provides a long service life for tackling future projects.
