The Chill-Its 6717FR FR Cooling Hard Hat Pad with Neck Shade straps into hard hats to deliver four hours of cooling relief while also meeting ASTM F1506 for arc flash protection and flame resistance. The low-profile and lightweight liner pad with shade features cooling acrylic polymers for instant cooling without bulk or slime, making it comfortable to wear under hard hats. The wide panel shade extends down for full back-of-neck fire-resistance coverage as well as protection from sun damage. This hard hat liner pad fits most hard hats and safety helmets, easily attaching to the suspension with two hook and loop straps. Heat-related illness continuously ranks among the top causes of worksite accidents and fatalities. Evaporative cooling technologies such as polymer crystals are a simple, effective and comfortable solution for heat stress prevention.
