Whether you use a stereo receiver or a set of 5.1 speakers, the NMP 1100W Wireless Music Box will stream digital music files from your computer to your speakers via a wireless connection. The NMP-1100W can receive and play any format of digital music files that your computer sends. The NMP-1100W has control software based on C-Media technology which allows your computer to automatically scan and find the Wireless Music Box. Once the computer detects and connects with the Wireless Music Box, you can start playing your music files directly from your hard drive. You may also retrieve music files directly from your Network Attached Storage. The NWP-1100W Wireless Music Box supports Dolby Digital Live and DTS 5.1 channel. Also, the Wireless Music Box gives you 13 choices of simulated environments, 12 different user-defined equalized patterns, and options to choose 2, 4 or 6 channel output. Equipped with 802.11g wireless capability and one 10/100 fast Ethernet port, the Wireless Music Box gives you the freedom of choosing from 2 network connection methods: wireless or wired. Supporting 64/128-bit WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption, you can add the Wireless Music Box into any existing home network without making any changes.
