The Zebra LP 2844 Thermal Label Printer - 2844-20301-0031 expands Zebra's 28-Series product family, offering 4-inch (10 cm) print-width capability. This model provides a sturdy double-walled case design, and comes equipped with a new generation of controller board, motor and power supply that drive the 2844 at a print speed of 4 inches (10 cm) per second! An improved print head provides 203dpi resolution with enhanced print quality, and the choice of direct thermal or thermal transfer printing technology ensures greater flexibility in supporting a broad variety of labeling applications. This printer supports the following linear bar code symbologies: Code 39, Code 128 (A, B or C user selectable/Auto select), UCC/EAN-128, Code 93, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5, UPC-A, UPC-E, UPC-A with 2 and 5 add on, Plessey, POSTNET, German Post, Japanese Postnet; and the following 2-dimensional bar code symbologies: PDF-417, Macro PDF-417, Maxi Code (Modes 2, 3, 4, 6), QR Code (requires Asian printer version), Aztec (optional).
