The XACT Stream Jockey Car Kit features everything you need to connect the Stream Jockey Tuner to your car's in dash FM stereo. It includes a docking station (where all the power and signal connections are made) with adjustable mounting bracket, a roof mount antenna, and a DC (cigarette lighter) power converter. To play the tuner through your stereo, you can use the docking stations mini jack output to connect to your stereo's auxiliary input (if it has one). If it does not have one, the docking station lets you use the Tuner's built in wireless FM modulator to broadcast the signal over an unused frequency. You need a Satellite Radio Tuner and a subscription to Sirius Satellite Radio to activate the Car Kit.

XACT Sirius Satellite Radio Car Kit Features
Docking Module. The docking module features a proprietary multi pin connector that plugs into the bottom of the Stream Jockey Receiver and a clip that locks the receiver to the module. The back of the docking module contains three jacks: a DC power input, an audio output (3.5mm mini-jack), and an SMB antenna jack for the supplied Sirius antenna.
Car Base. The Vehicle kit comes with an adjustable car base that can be attached to the vehicle by the supplied self-adhesive pad, or with 4 screws (not supplied). When secured by the self-adhesive pad, the car base can swivel 360 degrees and be positioned in any of 20 stops. The Stream Jockey Receiver, when mounted to the base, can tilted forward or backward and locked into place. The car base attaches to the back of the receiver via 4 pins and a thumbscrew.
Antenna. The kit comes with a magnetic Sirius satellite antenna with a 21 foot cable. The antenna cable has a single SMB connector. The antenna can be installed with or without the supplied 6-1/2" rubber tail. A packet of cleanser with antistatic is supplied to prepare the spot on the vehicle where you choose to install the antenna.
Cigarette Lighter Adapter. To supply power to the Stream Jockey Receiver, the vehicle kit includes a cigarette lighter DC power adapter with an attached 6 foot cord.
Signal Output. There are two methods of inputting the signal into your car stereo system. If your stereo receiver has an auxiliary input, you can use the 3.5mm mini jack output on the back of the docking module to feed satellite audio directly into the receiver. If the stereo has no aux input, you can use the Stream Jockey Receiver's built in FM wireless modulator and tune to the selected transmitting frequency on your stereos FM tuner to hear the satellite audio.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, unauthorized modification, or the affixing of any attachment not provided by XACT Communication with the equipment, and/or loss of parts.
