It is my first external hard drive. Exactly 1.862TB. Not easy to install in my 4 years old desktop. Speed there ? 179.46GB in 4h15min. But faster in my new desktop 15GB in 10min, retrieve. Very easy to install in my new one (i7). Quiet, sometimes smoothie vibration, like "Dobito ergo cogito. Cogito ergo sum. Sum ergo Deus est." Long USB cable 85cm. It must be accurate, because I bought it. Two words : buy it !
