When used with Tripp Lite's P568-050 or P568-100 (50 ft. and 100 ft. HDMI cables) you're assured of a fully regenerated HDMI signal traveling the last 12 inches into your HDTV. The Active Chip in the adapter means that no external AC Adapter is required. Simply plug the 50 ft. or 100 ft. cable into your HD Video Source (such as a DVR, DVD player, cable box or satellite receiver), plug the other end of the cable into the female end of the HDMI Active Extender Cable and plug the male end of the HDMI Active Extender Cable into your HDTV. The result is a crystal clear digital image over a length once not even imagined.
