Produce high-quality, customized transaction documents in one step with TallyGenicom ’s optional Intellipress software. Intellipress adds electronic forms inside the printer eliminating excessive network traffic.
Intelliprint Controller
The mL450, powered by TallyGenicom’s Intelliprint® controller, delivers the highest quality for text, graphics, imaging and application portability across platforms. The optional hard drive provides four additional features which include job library (which provides password protected printing), job save, job collection and job accounting. These new features enable users to more efficiently manage and analyze their printing activities.
Job Library enables users to choose different modes of printing including Normal Print mode in which documents are printed in the usual manner, Private Printing mode in which jobs are not printed until the user enters their "PIN" code at the printer - this feature significantly improves security - and Saved Printing mode in which documents are saved into the printer storage so that users can "print on demand" any document which is stored in the printer memory.
Job Accounting allows administrators and others to monitor the status of print jobs and to analyze printing trends remotely through the web-based printer interface.
Job Collation means that multiple copies of multi- page documents are printed in order - as whole documents - instead of multiple copies of each page being stacked one on top of the other.
Compatibility with Legacy Print Data Streams
Compatibility with legacy print data streams — without the pain of reprogramming applications — is made possible with TallyGenicom’s Intellifilter software, which comes standard on the Intelliprint Contoller. The mL450 is compatible with the most common networking protocols and server platforms. It supports the standard printer MIB for printer management over your network. Every TallyGenicom Intelliprint-enabled laser printer has its own built-in web page for remote inquiry of your printer’s status, from consumable levels to paper levels, or configuration via the Web.
