System Management Sun StorEdge Configuration Service (SSCS) software provides intuitive configuration and management of every Sun StorEdge 3310 SCSI array in your environment through an easy to use graphical user interface (GUI). The software application can be launched remotely from a Web browser, helping you increase availability, reduce complexity, and lower administrative costs with remote manageability. Terminal-based, GUI, or Web browser-based management options allow you to choose the management interface that meets your needs.

Included among the array's RAS features are dual hot-swap/redundant load-sharing/load-balancing power supplies, hot-swap redundant event monitoring units, and optional hot-swap redundant RAID controllers with mirrored synchronized-write cache. These components are field replaceable units (FRUs) that are easily accessible from the front or rear of the subsystem and can be removed from the subsystem while it is online.
