The StarTech.com 4 Port UTP Video Extender/Splitter allows up to 5 (1 local and 4 remote) monitors to be connected to a single PC. The video signal is sent to remote monitors over standard 4 pair Category 5 UTP cable using RJ45 connectors and supports distances of up to 980 Ft. At each remote monitor an STUTPRXL receiver (each sold separately) is required to convert the signal from the UTP cable back into VGA video for the monitor. Typical applications are: airports, bus depots, factories, or any large buildings where video needs to be delivered at long distances.
