Brightness of 1200 ANSI Lumes The all-new elliptical reflector with ultra smooth surface combined with a concave lens enables very small light source and accomplish very high light collection efficiency. This provides the audience with a clear, crisp and bright image every time.
Intelligent Auto Set Up Just turn on the power and the following sophisticated functions are initiated.
Powered lens protector When power is switched on, the powered lens protector opens automatically. You will never waste time looking for a missing lens cover - it is always safe on the projector.
Powered tilt adjuster and Auto Keystone Correction A power operated tilt adjuster sets the projector's shooting angle, and keystone distortion is automatically corrected according to the tilt angle. The tilt angle is adjustable from the remote control unit and the new setting retained in memory.
Smart APA (Auto Pixel Alignment) No need to adjust your PC computer or VPL-DS100 for optimum picture performance, the Smart APA function ensures that the display is automatically sized and adjusted for optimum picture performance whatever the input signal.
Auto Input Search Images are projected instantly. This is because the VPL-DS100 automatically detects the presence of a connected input signal when you connect the devise or put on the power. You don't have to manually select the input via the input select button.
Various Inputs/Outputs The VPL-DS100 has a built-in scan converter that allows it to accept composite video, component video or RGB video input signal. USB Input is also available for wireless mouse control. The VPL-DS100 also has monitor out.
4-Times Digital Zoom Want to emphasize a point in your presentation! The VPL-DS100 Digital Zoom feature allows any designated section of the projected image to be zoomed in up to 4X larger.
Freeze Function The "Freeze" function on the VPL-DS100 allows the presenter to freeze-frame their presentation on the projector, allowing the audience to see only that slide, while the presenter can successfully toggle their documents on the PC desktop. When ready, the presenter can depress the freeze function and the audience is non the wiser!
Keystone Correction Keystone distortion of up to 15 degrees can be digitally corrected. Images can be projected with the correct geometry even in the limitation of space.
