The Socket Ruggedized Quad Serial I/O card enables users to add four high-speed RS-232 ports to your mobile computer. Users can connect to serial devices such as fax/modems, digital cameras, bar code scanners, GPS receivers and many more. The Hi-Speed COM Tools enable you to easily identify and change COM port assignments. A fully integrated fixed cable maintains solid contact in high vibration situations. A molded strain relief protects against lateral stress and seals out dust and moisture. Socket's High-Integration Serial (HIS) chip lowers chip count to improve reliability and reduce power drain. Using less power means maximizing your mobile computer’s battery life.
