The drive is formatted for Mac computers out of the box, making it fully compatible with Time Machine software. Use the included plug-and-play USB 2.0 or FireWire 800 interface, or upgrade to powered eSATA or USB 3.0 by pairing the drive with the appropriate GoFlex upgrade cable to get even faster transfer speeds.
