Raritan pioneered the 32-port KVM-over-IP switch, which reduces the number of KVM switches required, lowers costs, installation time, and lowers maintenance effort. The KX132 supports a single, dense rack that reduces cabling and simplifies installation. It can also support two or more racks by leveraging its 150 ft. distance capacity between the switch and target server.

Raritan Dominion KX132 32 Port KVM Switch Features
The switch connects to each CIM to provide KVM-over-IP capability for remote access along with simultaneous local access for controlling servers at the rack.
Each CIM connects to the KVM ports of an individual server and converts the video signal for transmission up to 150 feet over UTP (Cat5/5e/6) cabling. The CIMs also deliver Raritans patented "keep-alive" keyboard/mouse emulation.
Raritan's client software is automatically downloaded via browser; Stand-alone versions of client software can be pre-installed for modem access.
