The New Platinum RAID Ultra320 SCSI is Ultra320 host bus to SATA II drive bus intelligent RAID controller, featuring parity and redundant RAID capabilities. The RAID controller is a cost-effective SATA disk drive array subsystem with completely integrated high performance and data protection capabilities, which are easily integrated into servers and workstations. It can also meet the rapidly growing demand from the Small to Medium Enterprise and SOHO market.
In fault tolerant RAID levels, HDD failures do not impact the existing data, and failed drive is rebuilt transparently to the host. Environmental information and control are accessible via the control panel or through serial port as with all PlatinumRAID models, and include new IP web based access as well without any additional software or hardware.
