Leading the Meridian series is the Meridian Color portable GPS receiver, an impressive navigation tool with a brilliant high color display, and excellent data capacity. The Meridian GPS includes 16 MB of built-in map, data and POI's, with support for expandable memory, using the SD memory cards. To manage the information, the Meridian supports easy management tools that store up to 20 routes, 500 waypoints and 2,000 track points. The full featured GPS navigation includes nine customizable graphic displays, 12 built-in coordinate systems, and 76 datums including Universal Transverse Mercator and Military Grid Reference System. All of the features are supported by superior tracking technology, which allows the unit to take advantage of 12 parallel channels in coordination with WAAS and EGNOS Satellite-Based Augmentation System, which provides fast signal acquisition, minimal signal loss and reliable accuracy within 3 meters.
