Model Performance, Extremely Versatile
Speed: 9-wire fast draft: 510 characters per second (cps) in Fast Draft mode at 12 characters per inch (cpi). Paper feed speed: Up to 7 inches per second (ips). Prints a wide range of media: 1+5 multi-part forms for 9-wire,plain paper and envelopes. Prints media of varying thickness: 9-wire: Up to 0.020". Noise level: a quiet 53 dBA (front microphone NLQ mode).
Easy to Use
New ergonomic design with intuitive-2-layer operator panel. Easy paper handling assured by single sheets and continuous forms loaded simultaneously. Fewer user interventions, thanks to standard-yield re-inking ribbon -- prints up to 4 million characters (in Draft mode at 10 cpi). Optional high-yield re-inking ribbon -- prints up to 8 million characters (in Draft mode at 10 cpi). The Lexmark Forms Printer 2400 series has a long printhead life for minimal user intervention. Six languages are supported in the setup menu: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.

Warranty Length: Manufacturer Two Year Limited Warranty
Coverage: If you have a printer problem call Lexmark's Technical Support Center. Lexmark's highly trained technicians will first try to resolve the problem. If your problem cannot be resolved over the phone, Lexmark will air express an exchange printer to you within two business days. Upon receipt of the exchange printer, pack the defective printer in the carton which contained the exchange printer, place the United Parcel Service (UPS) prepaid shipping label that was inside the box on the outside of the box, and take the printer to a UPS drop-off point, such as Mailboxes, etc. or your local UPS office, for shipment back to Lexmark. Please note: If you call UPS to come and pick up the printer from your site, they will charge a pick-up fee. This fee is not refunded by Lexmark. If you prefer, your printer may be repaired and returned, rather than exchanged. In either case, Lexmark pays for the shipping charges.
