And now Lenovo gives you a widescreen choice in T Series notebooks, with standard and wide aspect ratio displays available on all T60 and T60p models. In fact, the ThinkPad T60 with 15.4" widescreen display is the lightest widescreen notebook among the top 10 vendors. It's the same height as 14.1" models but offers at least 30% more display data space and starts at only 5.1 lb.
Mobile workstations
ThinkPad T Series mobile workstations offer robust graphics capacity, raw processing power and long battery life coupled with classic, award-winning ThinkPad design. In fact, they're so capable, they're ISV-certified.
In addition, select T60p mobile workstation models now support Novell Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop 10. These new models include a select set of integrated, Linux-compatible ThinkVantage Technologies and are undergoing ISV-certification in many mission-critical design applications — putting ThinkPad on its first true path toward a mobile engineering environment.
Security The Integrated Fingerprint Reader is built conveniently into the palm rest area of your notebook, making your passwords available at your fingertip. Security software is preloaded for an integrated solution out of the box. You cannot get a higher level of security as a standard feature on a PC from any other manufacturer.
Connectivity T Series notebooks feature up to five built-in communications capabilities: Wi-Fi wireless, Bluetooth technology, Ethernet, 56K V.92 modem and Infrared port. RJ-45 and RJ-11 ports are standard on all models. High-speed Gigabit Ethernet connectivity is also featured on select ThinkPad T Series notebooks. The UltraConnect antenna is built into the display cover for optimal signal reception. This combined design supports IEEE 802.11a, 802.11b and 802.11g wireless technologies to help maximize coverage and performance for improved wireless LAN connectivity around the world.
Reliability Unique data protection and reliability features on ThinkPad T Series models help safeguard your valuable data.
