I have an older InFocus projector (SP 7200) and this connector did the trick in upgrading the video performance of the projector. Combined with a low end Onkyo TX-SR309 5.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver ($175) I was able to leverage HDMI connectors for all my equipment and the picture quality increased. My HD stations, especially for sports showed a dramatic improvement. I will still be able to get a few more years out of my infocus projector for what amounted to a small investment.
