Unlike "web cameras" the Hawking Net-Vision HNC290G Wireless-G Network Camera is a remote monitoring surveillance camera that can be viewed within your local network (LAN) or from outside the network via the internet. This is a high performance camera that is very adaptable to many different environments such as schools, banks, hospital offices, homes and other public areas. This camera has its own IP address so it is able to connect to the network without having those messy cords everywhere. The HNC290G supports both the 802.11b/g wireless standard and the 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet standard and can stream up to 30 frames per second. Included in this package is very unique software that allows users to be able to set up the automatic router configuration and web address (URL). Also included in the software are security features such as motion detection as well as video management like playback, recording and more.
