Summary

The 3Com MSR Voice Co-Processor Module (VCPM) provides a transmission channel between the router's system memory and the DSP matrix for voice data, implementing a dedicated TDM exchange for each PCM data voice channel.

The VCPM module is required when the multi-service router is configured to support voice communications.
