A powerful, high performance printer, the Epson WorkForce 30 blazes through critical documents at speeds about two times faster than those of competitive printers (up to 38 ppm black; laser quality black text up to 27 ppm). The results are always impressive with the 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi. Individual ink cartridges give you control over ink usage, so you can replace only the cartridge that you need. Delivering laser quality text and brilliant color photos, it’s the perfect addition to any home office. With its small, compact design, it fits in even the smallest work area. With dual Black ink cartridges, this budget-conscious performer is ready to handle all your high-volume printing projects.

Comments about Epson WorkForce 30 Color Inkjet Printer:
I use this printer at home. It has great print quality and I like being able to purchase only the the color ink that I need, rather than a complete cartridge where I have to throw out some unused ink. The only negative about this printer is that it is fairly noisy.

Comments about Epson WorkForce 30 Color Inkjet Printer:
I purchased this as a replacement for my older worn out Epson C88 that finally died. After careful internet research and shopping I got another Epson despite misgivings. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost ( around 80 bucks at large electronic store near me) but cheaper if ya shop on line.
The ease of set up was great- simply follow instructions and you will not go wrong. When finished with software installation plug in your USB cable from the old one, then download the latest driver from the mfgr. website, install it and you are ready to go.
The feature I loved was the seamless transfer of all my Epson printer settings from the old C88 that were laboriously made by me previously. One I discovered was a setting for QUIET mode when printing. Nice touch when I wanna print early in the morn when people are sleeping or late at night.
The quality is way above my expectations even with mundane and cheeper house brand media. It ALL looks great even for a novice like me. Great for black and white and all types of color.
The printer is so new on the market that cheaper ink cartridges are not available, they will be in a few months. Now Epson says DO NOT use because it voids the warranty. Hey if the machine is around 80 bucks and replacement OEM ink is 75 bucks a pop for all, I will risk it when available. I used much cheaper ink for two years in my C88 with great results and never had a problem, But it is a personal choice - I opted for a cheeper price of ink over warranty of a very inexpensive but useful printer.
I would recommend the Workforce 30 to anyone looking for value and a small foot print near a cluttered workspace like mine.
