EMC CLARiiON AX150 250 GB Hard Drive

Compact design.
The CLARiiON AX150's space-saving, efficient hardware design delivers up to 12 serial SATA II drives in a 2U (3.5”) rack-mountable enclosure. And with 250 GB and 500 GB disks, a single AX150 array provides capacities ranging from 750 GB to 6 TB. In addition, by exploiting the Native Command Queuing (NCQ) capabilities available with the SATA II technology, the CLARiiON AX150 can deliver improved I/O performance for file sharing and transaction-oriented applications such as messaging and databases.

Choose from a range of models.
The AX150 is available in multiple configurations to support your different application, deployment, and scalability requirements:

• The single-controller AX150 is a low-cost solution with key data integrity features—such as RAID 5 and RAID 1/0 data protection and battery-backed cache. 
•  The dual-controller AX150 delivers high availability and end-to-end data protection with dual-active storage processors, mirrored cache, dual power supplies and N+1 redundant cooling.
  
  Both are available with Fibre Channel or iSCSI connectivity and come complete with a suite of integrated snapshot and storage management software.

Flexible connectivity options.
CLARiiON AX150 systems—in direct-attached or Fibre Channel SAN configurations—support your Microsoft Windows, Linux, NetWare, and Solaris environments. When connected via iSCSI the AX150i supports connections to Windows and Linux hosts.
