Fast Midtone Response Time To enhance moving image playback capabilities, an overdrive circuit is included. Used with many LCD TVs, an overdrive circuit vastly improves the LCD panel’s response time for changing between midtones or gray levels, which is necessary to display color images without blurring. With the overdrive circuit, midtone response time is an extremely fast 12 ms.
1000:1 Contrast Ratio This outstanding contrast performance makes images on dark backgrounds appear more vivid and ensures that colors retain their richness even in brightly lit rooms.
Stereo Speakers with SRS WOW Technology Dual 2-watt stereo speakers feature SRS WOW technology often used with LCD TVs and car stereo systems. SRS WOW consists of three types of technology: SRS technology which restores spatial information lost in the recording process for a 3D sound; TruBass technology which delivers rich bass sounds; and FOCUS technology which improves clarity in high frequencies and produces a tall and wide sound field.
Ideal Screen Brightness with BrightRegulator A BrightRegulator sensor on the front bezel takes a reading of the ambient brightness and then signals the backlight to adjust the screen brightness accordingly. In a brightly lit room, BrightRegulator increases the screen’s brightness level, whereas in a dimly lit room it will decrease the brightness, thereby saving energy and reducing eye fatigue.
ArcSwing 2 Stand This EIZO-developed stand provides an arc-shaped range of movement so the screen can be positioned up high near eye level or lowered at an angle akin to reading a book for a more natural viewing posture.
Detailed Image Control The high quality image reproduction of this monitor is complemented by extensive color control features. Color temperature can be adjusted in 500 K increments from 4,000 to 10,000 K (including 9,300 K). Independent control of hue, saturation and gain are also provided for achieving maximum color performance.
Fine Contrast A one-touch button on the front panel accesses five specialized image adjustment modes: Text, Picture, Movie, Custom and sRGB, each with its own settings for parameters such as color temperature, brightness and saturation.
10-Bit Gamma Correction Produces smooth gradations of color with its 10-bit LUT (Look-Up Table) that automatically converts 8-bit data (256 gradations) received from the computer to 10-bit (1,021 gradations) and then reassigns this data back to 8-bits with the ideal gamma values.
C-Booster C-Booster technology provides sharper and more vivid moving and still pictures by raising contrast levels and enhancing colors.
Product Information Display The product name, serial number, and total usage time can all be confirmed in the on-screen display menu.
Free Mount Capability Panel can be removed from its stand and can be mounted on VESA-compliant arms or stands. The power supply unit is panel-integrated so there is no separate power brick or cord.

Warranty Length: Five year limited warranty.

Details: EIZO NANAO CORPORATION ("EIZO") and EIZO authorized distributors warrant, subject to and in accordance with the terms of this warranty, to the original purchaser who purchased the product from EIZO or EIZO authorized distributors that this product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years but subject to the usage time being 30,000 hours or less from the date of purchase, and that, in the event of malfunction of the product during the warranty period attributable directly to defective material and/or workmanship, EIZO and EIZO authorized distributors will, at their sole discretion, either repair or replace the defective product. EIZO and EIZO authorized distributors shall bear no other liability or obligation under this warranty. The warranty period for the LCD panel and backlight is limited to three (3) years from the date of purchase, and EIZO and EIZO authorized distributors cease to bear any obligation under this warranty with regard to any parts of the product upon expiration of seven (7) years after the production of such parts is discontinued.
