The Digi PortServer Family of terminal servers provides network connectivity over TCP/IP for any serial device. The family supports application requirements from two to 64 ports. The versatile PortServer TS product can attach any serial device to the Ethernet. This product is ideal for console management of server farms, hubs, routers and PBXs, as well as connecting terminals to database applications such as travel reservations and information services. It is also a smart solution for kiosk management applications and small ISPs. The PortServer TS allows you to connect clusters of two to 16 high-speed serial ports to any TCP/IP Ethernet network. It supports asynchronous terminals, modems, printers and other serial devices. The PortServer TS is hardware independent, allowing users to access any type of networked server supporting TCP/IP. The entire Digi PortServer Family gives system administrators a new level of control over serial devices through the LAN or WAN. That's because Digi RealPort software provides local serial port functionality as well as incoming and outgoing Rlogin and Telnet sessions on each port. Plus, Digi provides a tool to configure and monitor serial ports, allowing much greater control of these locally administered, "hardware style" ports.

Warranty Length: 5 Year Limited
Details: Digi International Inc. (hereinafter referred to as DIGI) warrants that the Product shall conform to and perform in accordance with published technical specifications and the accompanying written materials, and shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship, for the period of time herein indicated, such warranty period commencing upon receipt of the Product. This warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement, at Digiís discretion, of defective or non-conforming Product, and DIGI shall not be responsible for the failure of the Product to perform specified functions, or any other non- conformance caused by or attributable to: (a) any misapplication or misuse of the Product; (b) failure of Customer to adhere to any of Digiís specifications or instructions; (c) neglect of, abuse of, or accident to, the Product; or (d) any associated or complementary equipment or software not furnished by DIGI.
