The PortServer TS family of terminal servers delivers simple, reliable, and cost effective EIA-232/422/485 serial-to-Ethernet connectivity for a wide range of applications. The PortServer TS provides hardware independent solutions that allow access to network server applications supporting TCP/IP. PortServer TS incorporates Digi's patented RealPort software, which provides local serial port functionality as well as incoming and outgoing Rlogin and Telnet sessions on each port. The Digi Port Authority - Remote (DPA-Remote) gives PortServer TS users a management tool for monitoring network and serial activity from a Windows or UNIX-based client or server. In addition, the PortServer TS provides SSH v2 encryption to protect against unauthorized monitoring of LAN traffic and port buffering which can be used to capture vital information from the serial ports of managed UNIX servers for problem resolution.

Warranty Length: 5 Year Limited
Details: Digi International Inc. (hereinafter referred to as DIGI) warrants that the Product shall conform to and perform in accordance with published technical specifications and the accompanying written materials, and shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship, for the period of time herein indicated, such warranty period commencing upon receipt of the Product. This warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement, at Digiís discretion, of defective or non-conforming Product, and DIGI shall not be responsible for the failure of the Product to perform specified functions, or any other non- conformance caused by or attributable to: (a) any misapplication or misuse of the Product; (b) failure of Customer to adhere to any of Digiís specifications or instructions; (c) neglect of, abuse of, or accident to, the Product; or (d) any associated or complementary equipment or software not furnished by DIGI.
