Summary

The capacity of the DVD (digital versatile disk) media is the highest of the optical storage products. With 4.7-GB per-disk (equivalent to 7 CD-ROMs or over 3,000 diskettes) software uploads, future commercial multimedia titles (for example, Training) and large databases will increasingly employ this technology. The 16X/40X DVD-ROM Drive with +R Read Support also features the added capability of reading single layer or dual layer media.
