D-Link's AirPremier N Quadband PoE Access Point is an 802.11n wireless Access Point ideal for indoor deployment in business-class environments. Certified to "Plenum rating" level for its fire-resistant characteristics, this Access Point also supports 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) and is Wi-Fi certified. The DAP-2690 can operate at speeds up to 300 Mbps in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency ranges at the same time. Five different operating modes are supported, including Wireless Distribution System (WDS) with AP and Point-to-Multipoint bridging to create building-to-building links.
