The Certance CL 800 is an internal backup tape drive. This 2U rack mountable device is ideal for large businesses and enterprises that operate on a Windows, Mac or Unix platform. Offering up to 800 GB of compressed capacity it is backward compatible with LTO Ultrium 1 and 2 media. Reliability is Certance highest priority. It provides support for up to five clients and delivers up to 100 GB of disk-to-disk-to-tape capacity. MediaShield provides advanced cooling and tape guides. The 13-Speed transfer feature ensures tape streaming and eliminates shoe-shining. Powerdown protects the drive and cartridge in the event of power loss and SmartVerify concurrently verifies all data written to the tape.
