With the compact PIXMA MP170 Photo All In One, you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish. One key to its impressive printing performance: Canon Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) uses an innovative print head with 1,472 nozzles that eject consistent, precise ink droplets as small as 2 picoliters. More nozzles + higher accuracy = better photos. This patented technology produces an outstanding resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 color dpi, for superb detail and photo-realism. You won't wait long for the results; printing a beautiful photo lab quality 4"x 6" borderless photo takes approximately 55 seconds.

What about copying? For improved performance, AE (Auto Exposure) Copy feature automatically optimizes reproduction quality based on the type of original you're duplicating. Whether you're copying your photos, text documents or a mix of both, the MP170 Photo All-In-One automatically adjusts the exposure to give you the best output possible. When scanning your photos or graphics, you'll produce high-quality reproductions of up to 1200 dpi with vibrant 48-bit color depth. Plus, the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface accelerates the process, enabling the fastest possible image transfers and scanning speeds.

Print Direct From Cards or Digital Cameras
This versatile All In One's built-in card slots let you print directly from a variety of memory cards. Just insert the card and generate a photo index sheet that lets you choose your prints, pick their size and set the number of copies. Once filled out, the index sheet is scanned and the selected images will begin to print! You can also print directly from your PictBridge compatible digital camera or DV camcorder. Just connect and print! Whichever way you choose, your images will automatically be optimized to improve sharpness and enhance the light values on your subjects' faces.
