Infinity WF has the same SharpShooter camera technology found in BÖWE BELL + HOWELL’s flagship product, the Spectrum XF. SharpShooter empowers the Infinity WF to have the highest resolution at rated speeds in its class. Images as intricately detailed and diverse as maps, aerial photos and architectural renderings are quickly and thoroughly captured. A luminous white LED light source and unique illumination technique ensure light is evenly distributed to produce clean, crisp and consistent images. Users can define the desired resolution – up to 1200 dpi.

The transport wheels of the Infinity WF are individually mounted with spring-loaded ball bearings to secure placement of the scanned document ensuring smooth and gentle document throughput.

Installing a scanner and making it available to multiple users on a network has never been easier or more cost-effective. All that is needed to bring Infinity WF online and ready to scan is a valid IP address. The cost savings of this approach are realized immediately. To operate Infinity WF, users do not need to download software or drivers. And additional hardware (such as an interface card or even a PC) is unnecessary, making Infinity WF a simple and convenient wide format scanning solution.

Infinity WF detects the width of a document automatically – without any user intervention or changes in scanner settings. This unique functionality allows even the most delicate documents to pass through the middle of the scan table, thereby eliminating the danger of torn or ragged edges that can be caused by paper guides.

Infinity WF’s Image Rotation function allows users with documents that exceed the maximum scanning width to feed the document lengthwise and then rotate the scanned image to the proper orientation on the fly. This automated functionality shortens users’ “hands-on” and total scanning time.
