I've had one of these for quite a few months now. I have three PCs connected to it.
In the default configuration, a beep is heard when the unit switches between ports. I found that beep annoying, and discovered instructions on the support web site on how to turn the beep off.
At first, I was seeing bad mouse lag and keyboard/mouse lockups, with the lockups occuring mostly at PC turn-on time and when switching between ports. It turned out that the device is incompatible with wireless mice (according to Belkin Support). The problem disappeared as soon as I switched to a wired mouse. Why isn't that incompatibility listed in the manual?
I never thought that I would use its ability to source video from one computer and audio from another computer, but it did come in handy a couple of times.
