Comments about Avocent SwitchView 100 Series 4 Port Desktop KVM Switch:
If it worked it would be great for home or business. I first tried to use it with a fingerprint reader keyboard, but the computer couldn't find the reader. I pulled out a wireless combo keyboard mouse set and sometime the mouse would work sometime the keyboard or nothing. I am trying a stripped down keyboard tonight. I think the problem is that there is no external power supply or usb power. As the connection is thru the Video it probabily is not compatable with alot of video cards. Their tech support told me there was a USB cable on the side of the unit which there is not( which I verified last night)I am going to try and return this unit.
