The Avaya VSU 5 extends the line of award-winning Avaya VPN Service Units (VSU) and Firewall security appliances by providing a product that can meet the requirements of enterprises and service providers who are deploying VPN security for small and home office broadband Internet connections. The VSU 5 provides a comprehensive suite of integrated security services including IPSec VPN, firewall, authentication, NAT and QoS, yet it is relatively simple and cost-effective to install, support and manage. Small and home office remote workers can increase their productivity by using the VSU 5 for secure, efficient and cost-effective access to the corporate resources they need to do their job. For example, the VSU 5 provides both VPN and firewall security that can allow remote workers to securely access corporate applications and databases such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), unified messaging and email.
