Xserve has a rack-mount rail system that's designed to be quick and easy to deploy, whether you're deploying one in a networking closet or hundreds of units in a data center. These rails support industry-standard (EIA-301-D compliant) four-post racks and cabinets with rail depths from 24-inches to 36-inches deep using a new quick-deployment rail design.

Every Xserve system comes with a set of rails, either square hole rails or threaded hole rails, selected at the time you order. Choose this kit if you wish to change the rack you are mounting the system in or require replacement mounting hardware.
